FAITH CONNECTION

It’s essential that we come together to discuss God’s Word. The Word of God is our source of truth, life, and revelation. In a world with so many voices trying to shape our thoughts, God’s Word leads us into freedom and grace. By sharing it with one another, we grow in understanding how much God loves us and who we truly are in Christ. Together, we discover how God’s promises can be fulfilled in our lives. Gathering around the Gospel strengthens our faith and encourages us to live in truth, embracing everything God has given us.

Episodes

In this episode, we discuss Andrew Wommack's sermon from *Basics of Righteousness Part 8*. Andrew focuses on the importance of being spiritually minded, emphasizing that faith is not about believing in something imaginary but trusting in the unseen spiritual realities revealed through God's Word. He shares insights from Hebrews 11:1, explaining that faith provides evidence of what is already real in the spiritual realm. We also explore the story of Elisha in 2 Kings 6, illustrating how our spiritual eyes need to be opened to perceive God's protection and provision, even when we cannot see it physically.

In this podcast, we talk about the YouTube video *"Sons are like stars"* by Prophet Kobus van Rensburg from the Spirit Word House channel. The video explores various biblical passages and encourages us to choose a spiritual path leading to abundance and fulfillment. It draws a powerful contrast between the "dust" of the natural world and the "stars" of a spiritual, promised life. The message highlights that God desires for us to live a life of abundance and dominion, as seen in the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. However, this kind of life requires a spiritual awakening and a deep commitment to seeking God's will, with examples drawn from the lives of Joshua and Job. The video concludes with a call to rise up and embrace our spiritual destiny, using inspiring passages from Psalms and Isaiah to emphasize transformation.

Friday Oct 04, 2024

In this podcast, we discuss the YouTube video *"Expecting Sons"* by Prophet Kobus van Rensburg. The video focuses on how trials lead to greater spiritual maturity, using Job’s story as an example. Despite Job's suffering, God restored him with even more blessings, illustrating that the "end of the Lord" is about new beginnings and prosperity.
Kobus highlights Jeremiah 29:11, reminding us that God has a hopeful and prosperous future planned for us. He emphasizes that creation is waiting for the sons of God to be revealed, and that we, as believers, are called to rise into our spiritual inheritance, following Christ’s example of suffering and victory. The message urges us to embrace our identity as sons and daughters of God and expect a life of divine purpose and blessing.

Friday Oct 04, 2024

In this podcast, we discuss the YouTube video *"Faith to be Sons"* by Prophet Kobus van Rensburg. The message highlights how Moses, by faith, saw the "invisible" and left Egypt behind, not fearing the wrath of the king. This act of faith in the unseen is a key theme, encouraging believers to focus on God's promises rather than present struggles.
Kobus emphasizes that true faith looks beyond physical circumstances to the unseen spiritual reality. By not looking back, as the Israelites did, we can enter the promises of God and embrace our identity as sons and daughters of God. He challenges us to shift our focus from visible problems to the invisible promises of God, unlocking our potential to live as mature, perfected sons of God, reflecting the life of Christ.
The video concludes with the call to take that "one step further," into sonship, allowing the glory of Christ to be manifested in our lives for the world to see.

Friday Oct 04, 2024

In this podcast, we discuss Prophet Kobus van Rensburg's YouTube message *"Sons are like stars."* The video contrasts two types of sons: those bound by the "dust" of the natural world and those like "stars," representing spiritual, promised lives. Kobus uses the stories of Abraham's sons to illustrate how believers can choose between living in the flesh or embracing their spiritual identity. He emphasizes that God's plan is for us to rise from our struggles, like Joshua and Job, and live in abundance and dominion as "stars," fulfilling His promises.

Saturday Oct 05, 2024

In this podcast, we discuss *Third Day Sons of God* by Prophet Kobus van Rensburg, focusing on the significance of the third day—Christ's resurrection. Van Rensburg emphasizes that Jesus’ death and resurrection were not just for salvation but to bring forth mature sons of God who reflect His fullness.
The third day symbolizes the transition from suffering to glory, calling believers to rise in the power that raised Christ. We are to live as manifested sons of God, filled with His glory, empowered to reflect His light and authority in the world.

Saturday Oct 05, 2024

In this podcast, Prophet Kobus van Rensburg explores John 16, where Jesus tells His disciples they will not see Him for a "little while" because He is going to the Father, but will see Him again. Kobus compares this to childbirth, where initial sorrow is replaced by joy when a "man-child" is born, symbolizing the mature sons of God. He explains how Jesus' resurrection brought believers into a new season of joy and authority, fulfilling His promise.
Kobus also reflects on how Jesus, like a high priest, completed the ultimate sacrifice for humanity's sins. He discusses the creation of man in God’s image, the authority given to Adam in Eden, and Satan’s deception. Ultimately, the episode emphasizes the believer’s identity as mature sons of God, filled with joy and empowered by Christ’s resurrection.
